The Heritage Game Project's third in-person meeting took place from January 27 to 31, 2025, at Trnava University in Trnava, Slovakia. The event brought together partners from the seven countries involved in the project to review progress, share ideas and collaborate on the future direction of the project.
The conceptual framework for the gamification manual aimed at promoting the heritage of low-density areas in Europe is built upon five foundational pillars: Educational Engagement, Community Involvement, Technological Integration, Sustainability, and Cultural Sensitivity and Inclusivity.
Sets of criteria for the identification and selection of case studies and their analysis, based on indicators relevant to their
gamification techniques and tools, their heritage intervention approaches and outcomes, their community engagement
strategies, among others.
The HERITAGE GAME project team – “A gamification model for community-based heritage work” (2023-1-PT01-KA220-HED-000154261), co-funded by the European Union, met online on 20 November 2024 to update the work of WP3 and WP5, and prepare the periodic report for the first year of the project.
